How to Get Unstuck In Life & Out Of A Dead End Job

Getting stuck in life can happen to anyone for a number of reasons. In fact most of us have had certain times in our lives of sadness, disappoint, and regret. One common hardship is financial problems. When you’re working hard at a dead end job, and barely surviving it’s easy to feel stuck.

dead end jobIt’s hard to imagine a life of success when you don’t have an avenue to get there. Deep down there’s a competitive nature in us all to excel at whatever we do. Most of us are passionate about our work, and want the best life for ourselves, and our family.

Passion is what motivates us to work hard and take pride in doing a quality job well done regardless of pay. Sadly many will work harder at a dead end job then on their personal development. We should always be grateful for any job despite the pay, but we don’t have to get stuck there for life.

Getting unstuck from life & work

Dead End JobGetting unstuck is a mindset. We are all creatures of habit, and we don’t like change which makes it easy to get stuck. We can’t continue doing the same old thing, and expect a different result.

When we feel there’s no other options it’s easy to become withdrawn, and depressed. Allowing these feelings to fester in our mind long, and they will sabotage our entire life. So what choice is really out there? When we feel powerless our inner potential is usually never challenged.

Several people today are overqualified and underpaid at their jobs. As a result many have lost dreams that faded long ago. Life becomes more about survival then a life of success. Remember it’s our competitive nature that drives us to success. To get unstuck it’s best to find ways to spark that inner drive with a dose of desire. Start thinking about how things can get better.

3 starting points to avoid dead end jobs

Here’s three things to do when you’re stuck in life, and feel there’s no way out of your dead end job.

  • Reclaim your passion: What is it that you loved doing in the past that you’re not doing now? There are hidden layers of treasure in our past that can remind us of our true passion in life. Reclaim it with an open mind, and some adventure. To get unstuck we need some imagination to expand our mind.
  • Develop a brilliant game plan: You need a brilliant detailed plan of action. How? Train your mind for success by finding out what motivates you, moves you, and inspires your inner drive to make things happen. Use your time wisely to broaden your knowledge in business.
  • Learn the art of making money: Every situation is different, but there are far better ways to earn money then a job. For example a business system that generates residual passive income streams whether you’re working, playing golf, or on vacation. There is an art to making money which puts the probability factor of future success in your hands.

New ways to make money in the information age

The traditional ways to make money is a broken system. There is a new philosophical business model that is generating more multi millionaires than ever before in history. The opportunities are endless for those who learn to adapt to new ideas, new innovations, and a little creativity. There is a new science to making money which can bring you lots of success in this environment. There is more information than ever to expand our learning curb, and to create any life we desire. But we are overwhelmed with information, and starved for new ways to use it. Here’s a few tips below.

Develop a laser focus: The mind is a powerful tool that can absorb, and learn new information faster when we develop a laser focus. The beginning to every dream, and ambition starts in the mind. Get focused on learning, growing, and expanding your game plan with more knowledge. This will build more self-confidence which is necessary to move forward.

Learn knowledge incrementally: Avoid information overload by taking in information incrementally. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Absorbing knowledge with a deeper understanding, and comprehension will make you very smart overtime. Knowledge in action equals power, and power equals more money, time, and freedom to do the things you want in life.

“We are drowning in information, but starving for wisdom.”

Tony Robbins

Using automated tools online to create passive income

Successful entrepreneurs know the power of automation well. Some have created millions of dollars from scratch using a small website, some online tools, and a little creativity. Others have used social media exclusively to generate impressive residual income without a website. Most of them simply plug into an automated system already in place, and duplicate those that are successful.

Growing an automated business that makes money while you sleep is just smart. Once the system is in place, it can run in motion continuously whether you fine tune it or not. From the earnings you can invest more time and energy to increase more income. This formula has revolutionized the way we do business in many industries.

Breaking free from a dead end job

There are still those uninformed souls who believe a job is the safer secure way to earn money. Even though the signs are everywhere that things are changing fast. Social perceptions cause people to work hard, but think wrong. With this frame of mind we can never break free, and make positive changes. It wasn’t until I quit my $60,000 per year job trap that I began to experience real success.

I was working in retail management six days a week for just under 20 years. Within 4 years of quitting I was making more in one day then I made in a whole week at my old job. I found new skills I didn’t know I had. These skills were small but significant. I learned to make a lot more money with less energy. This new found skill motivated a relentless determination deep down.

I learned to outsource, and use my time efficiently to make myself successful. This caused an inner shift that gave me more purpose to rise and start the day with more enthusiasm. There are far better ways to make money then a place you don’t want to be, and people you don’t want to see. The greatest feeling was the day I decided to break free from a dead end job that kept me stuck in life for years. We all have cross roads where we can rise above mediocrity, or stay stagnant getting nowhere.

Making smart job choices

Job choices are usually made with little thought outside the social conditioned mind-set. Influence can cause people to make bad choices. For example family, and friends can unintentionally cause a disastrous job choice with lasting effects. Many are good people with good intentions, but lack insights of the new economy. They are still operating under the old system that cannot sustain itself much longer.

This is why I started out with three important things to get unstuck in life, and avoid a job trap. The mistake many of us make when making career choices is to follow dollar signs without considering the cost. The time away from the family, and level of stress could come with a heavy price. Taking a step back to think things through is wise. Reclaiming things you’re passionate about will help balance your perspective in decision making. If you’re content having a job then make sure you enjoy your life in the process..

“The biggest mistake people make in life is not doing what they enjoy”. Malcolm S. Forbes

Final Thoughts

People will stay at a job they hate for several reasons. Maybe all those years of college would be wasted, or they just can’t see themselves doing something else. Whatever the reasons putting a business in motion that generates passive income is not a bad choice. Starting a local business doing something you love maybe better than a job trap that leads to a dead end road. Either way it all comes down to our ability to think, and make smart choices that make life more enjoyable.

Getting unstuck from a bad situation is an adventure. Opportunities are endless everywhere for those who learn new ways to make money this information age. Getting out of a dead end job is a good choice. The first step is always the hardest, but it’s never too late for new beginnings.
